As we continue to grow and uphold our commitment to excellence, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Milk Procurement & Extension team in the following role:

Position: Head Milk Procurement-Central.
Department: Milk Procurement & Extension (MPE)
Reports To: General Manager-Milk Procurement &Extension

Role Purpose
Responsible for milk procurement, extension, production enhancement activities, planning, organizing &
monitoring field operations at the milk collection & bulking centers & transportation to the processing plant
and related tasks as per agreed guidelines/provisions according to Brookside Limited policy.

Key Result areas:
• Ensure to be responsible for Milk procurement extension & production enhancement activities.
• Ensure to collect & analysis of Milk data & planning for increased volumes.
• Ensure planning, organizing & monitoring field operations at the Milk collection & Bulking Centers &
Transportation to the processing Plant.
• Ensure to design motivational programmes & incentives to the Dairy Farmers.
• Monitoring the activities of the Farmers’ Organizations & training them on clean Milk production Practices.
• Ensure to conduct Farmers’ meeting from milk catchment areas in Uganda.
• Preparing weekly, monthly reports and databases as may be required and submitting them to your immediate
Mentor.
• Ensuring security of Company Assets at all MCC & BCC in your area of operation.
• Ensuring recovery of Equipment s from un-operational MCC.
• Ensure to survey & identifying new potential areas for MCC & BCC.
• Ensure to monitor & organizing review meetings at BCC-Company run/out sourced Agency.
• Ensuring Suppliers’ data from BCC for Farmers’ payment.
• Ensure that implementation of SOP at MCC/BCC/Transport level.
Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time by your immediate supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Job holder must possess a degree in Agriculture with emphasis in Animal Husbandry or its
equivalent or a degree in veterinary science or Degree in Dairy Husbandry and Milk processing from a
reputable Universities.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in the field of extension activities while organizing farmers’ group or societies, training the farmers and supervision of primary societies etc.
