Job Title: Fleet Officer
Division/Department: Administration
Reports to: Operations Supervisor
Location: Uganda-Kampala (office)
Job Purpose
Manages company auditing practices on the fleet through exemplary financial management, liaisons with team members, and report management.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitor all car movements through GPS and report on performance of the tracking devices
• Coordinate with SGA in cases of new installations, troubleshooting & faulty devices
• Oversee fuel consumption and report any anomalies to management
• Ensure timely servicing of all company cars
• Confirmation of repair and services for motorcycles
• Vehicle services i.e., tyres purchase
• Laisse with our mechanic in regards to car repairs.
• Prepare weekly report (excel) on company car movements and fuel consumption
• Ensuring all Company Vehicles have Fuel at all times of Operations through generating a Fuel report twice a month.
• Collection of all New Fuel cards issued by TOTAL and creating reports for all Details of Vehicle’s and their pin codes.
• Ensuring all company vehicles have GPS Tracking Devices and are in proper condition through coordinating with SGA, Tracking company in time for all New and in Use vehicles.
• Ensure all vehicles have valid onboard documentation like licenses
• Ensure all drivers have valid permits to drive on the road
• Oversee and ensure proper use of all company vehicles at all times
• Ensure we have a valid contract with the service provider(s) at all times.
• Perform regular checks on all company vehicles to ensure all penalties if any are settled on time
• Organization and Proper filing of all work related to your desk
• Any other duties assigned
Qualifications
• Holder of a Bachelor Degree in business administration or any related course.
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• English Language Proficiency.
• Microsoft Office Proficiency.
• Works well with deadlines.
• Strong time management skills.
• Data Entry Skills.
