Job Title: Gravure Machine Operator

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Gravure Machine Operator to join our Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining gravure printing machines, ensuring high-quality output, achieving production targets, and minimizing waste while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

a) Operate gravure printing machines to meet daily production targets.
b) Set up machines, including cylinders, inks, substrates, and machine parameters.
c) Monitor print quality and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
d) Minimize production defects, downtime, and material wastage.
e) Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
f) Record production data, machine performance, and material usage.
g) Identify and report machine faults promptly.
h) Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Certificate in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, or a related technical field.
O-Level certificate with relevant technical training may be considered.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating gravure or flexographic printing machines in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in packaging printing (films, bags, labels, laminates) is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of gravure printing processes and machine operation.
Machine setup, troubleshooting, and quality control skills.
Basic maintenance and material handling knowledge.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Safety-conscious and computer literate.
