Job Title: Slitting Machine Operator

Department: Production

Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Slitting Machine Operator to join our Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating slitting machines, ensuring accurate cutting of packaging materials, maintaining product quality, maximizing machine efficiency, and adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and set up slitting machines according to production schedules and job specifications.
Load master rolls, adjust slitting blades, tension controls, and machine parameters.
Ensure slit widths, roll dimensions, and finished products meet quality standards.
Minimize material waste and production defects.
Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance.
Monitor machine performance and promptly report faults.
Maintain accurate production and material usage records.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Certificate in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Production, or a related technical field.
Minimum 2–3 years' experience operating slitting or similar converting machines in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in packaging, printing, films, labels, bags, or laminates is an added advantage.
